‘What is worth more - a kilogram of stone or a kilogram of gold?’ This famous question by the architect Adolf Loof made me question the value of a banal but essential and ancient object - a loaf of bread. During a 5-day performance at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, I continuously baked small loafs of sourdough bread. Each loaf was then photographed with a polaroid-backed technical camera, creating a unique picture for each irreprocable loaf.
